When you Create A Profile, what does "First year in ECE field" mean?

When you are creating a Registry profile you may have questions about fields and what is being asked. 

  • "First year in ECE field" is the first year that you start caring for children, other than your own.  This can include if you were employed in the early care and education field or if you are a family, friend or neighbor care provider.  
 

Here are some other tips for Creating a Profile:

  • Fields marked with an asterisk (*), mean the fieldare required. 
  • The email you provide will serve as your login user name. 
  • Your Registry ID number is a unique identifier.
  • Social Security is not required.
